Hi, I am Parul Khurana, founder of 'Kathak with Parul' & 'Joyful Kathak Hub'. I am a software engineer turned Wellness Coach, and a Kathak trainer & dancer by passion.
I've learnt Kathak since childhood under the patronage of Late Pt. Birju Maharaj and have been teaching it for over a decade. Teaching is my passion, & in the pandemic I started teaching Kathak online & many people shared wonderful experiences. I now have students from across the globe learning this ancient dance form and spreading its fragrance & spreading Indian culture.
Since childhood I have performed at many shows in India & south-east Asia & I am now on a mission to spread joy in the lives of women through this dance form. It can do wonders to your quality of living.
I am on a mission to help 1,00,000 women live a life of confidence, joy with a spiritual bent through this ancient dance form Kathak.
I am a part of a happy family, I'm a mother of a 3 year old and I have my roots grounded in spirituality.

This workshop is not for kids. For kids, we recommend to go for physical learning rather than online. This workshop is designed for women who want to embark their journey in Kathak online.

The predominant language of the workshop will be English, with some parts explained in Hindi as well.
This workshop is to introduce you to the danceform and its benefits and show you a glimpse of the journey. It will not have kathak demonstration, so you dont need to bother about your outfit for this workshop.
